| Born and Bred in Texas, she picked up her grandfathers throwing knives before she could walk and hasn't let them go since, As a young doe, she killed squirrels, gophers and possums at night. Eventually she got good enough to hit scorpions at 30 paces. At sixteen her mother hosted a debutante ball, but being unable to integrate into society, the wild child she was bolted, got tattooed and joined a traveling Wild West Show as the knife thrower becoming the star attraction. Too big for the two bit Wild West show she went to hollywood to coach Lou "La Bamba" Diamond Phillips how to throw knives for Young Guns. It was on the set that she met her Double D compadré Dixie Diamond, who was working as a horse wrangler. They decided to come home to see what they could stir up. While with the Wild West show she became a crack shot with a Colt. and lived off the land with Dixie for a few years. Looking for more excitement, Dixie and Deb stumbled into a local Austin watering hole and ran into the Honky Tonk Heartbreakers. They immediately set out to; out drink, out wit, out ride the mechanical bull, and out cuss each other. When the bar owners had had enough they called it a draw and the girls forged a bond that wouldn't be broken. |
